Hope and Healing Weekend Retreat - Entering the land of Milk and Honey

Picture
“Israel served the Lord during the entire lifetime of Joshua and that of the elders who outlived Joshua and knew what the Lord had done for Israel.” Joshua 24

The Hope and Healing Weekend Retreat is an opportunity for those who have been involved in the healing process of the "Day of Prayer & Healing" and the "Gatherings", to delve more deeply into their abortion experience.

Throughout the weekend  Our Lord is present in the Blessed Sacrament allowing those who attend the opportunity to hear His voice as He reveals to them His great love and shelters them in His mercy.

In addition, women who have been through the healing experience, as well as the priest spiritual director of the retreat give conferences on post abortion issues such as shame, acknowledgment of sin, and forgiveness of self.

We continue this process throughout the year, being there for them during their individual healing with God offering continued support, post abortion education and spiritual guidance.

Mercy Retreat
"Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while." Mark 6: 30-31

Once each year, we set aside a weekend that we named our “Mercy Retreat”. It is a time to refresh and renew in the Lord, when all those who have participated in the ministry over the years can get away to spend some time with Our Merciful Savior, through conferences, adoration, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

While abortion is addressed in this retreat, it focuses on growing spiritually in a relationship with God, not only in regard to abortion but throughout our lives.
