Who Are We
Reclaiming Our Children (ROC), is a non for profit made up of women, men and siblings who have experienced abortion and are now assisting others in their healing journey.
Our Advisory Board is made up of clergy, and lay people who assist in the work, as well as those who have experienced abortion.
Maureen Ciardiello is the Coordinator for Project Rachel in the Diocese of Bridgeport, which is a post abortion ministry supported by the Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). She has been involved in facilitating Entering Canaan Retreats for the past four years.
Maureen is currently working towards her BA in Psychology at Albertus Magnus College, with a concentration in Counseling and Mental Health.
Michael Corsini is a husband and father of five. It’s this vocation that gives life to everything he does. He is an artist, musician, speaker and retreat leader. The art and music that he creates is an extension of his family life. In fact, most of the art and music is made during time spent with his children! He believes that his mission is to help people experience the powerful love of God through an authentic encounter with beauty.
He is a graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design and has a Master of Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Institute in D.C. He also spent five years as a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.
Michael is a gifted worship leader and has led music for thousands of holy hours, masses and retreats for nearly two decades. He has worked with Entering Canaan’s post-abortion healing ministry, as well as other healing retreats for those suffering with infertility and miscarriage for many years. Michael is currently finishing his second worship record and a large altarpiece depicting the vision of Our Lady of Mt Carmel at Fatima.
Fr. Mariusz Koch, CFR
Rev. Mariusz Koch, CFR, was ordained in 1969; and has a Master’s in Divinity and an M.A. in Spiritual Theology; Fr Koch has served in many different capacities as a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal including Servant. He currently serves at Immaculate Conception Seminary, Seton Hall University and continues to work extensively in in the Entering Canaan Ministry. with both men and women.
Theresa is the co-developer with The Sisters of Life of “Entering Canaan – a Sacramental Journey to an Inheritance of Mercy”, a post abortion ministry published by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, which consists of day retreats, weekends, monthly gatherings and special retreats. In addition to the women’s ministry, she also developed, with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, specialized days for men, siblings of aborted babies, and those who aborted as a result of an adverse diagnosis.
Having experienced abortion herself, her journey of healing has inspired many works across the country and the world, including “An Afternoon of Prayerful Remembrance and Intercession“, a prayer service she developed with the Family Life Office of New York, which has been televised by EWTN and conducted by many diocese across the country.
Theresa’s articles on healing can be found in many publications including, Mind & Spirit, Aleteia, Catholic Online, Catholic Exchange, The Federalist, and National Catholic Register. Theresa also authored a book of meditations, “A Journey to Healing Through Divine Mercy”, to assist those suffering from abortion on their healing journey published by Marian Press This book of meditations assists those through reflections on real issues faced in the healing journey.
In June 2002, Theresa was the recipient of the 2nd Annual John Cardinal O’Connor Award for her work with those who are post abortive. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Be Not Afraid, a ministry for those who have received an adverse pregnancy diagnosis.
Her great devotion to Divine Mercy, which was instrumental in her own healing journey, and Our Lady of Czestochowa, patroness of all her work, is the inspiration for all she does.
